LOVE THE LOVELY LIFE| English Poem| Feelings| Shravan Venkataraman

Providing 24 hours of opportunity
Giving you endless moments of joy
Having to sadness an immense immunity
With god by your side as your strongest convoy.

Having food cloth and shelter,
Having people to love,
And people that loves you
That makes you happy beyond all above.

The excitement in the fridays' eve,
The last day of the school,
Waking up early to find you have some more time
To sleep along in the warmth of the blanket cool.

Laughing at your own joke when no one else is,
Talking to yourself and thinking how awesome you are,
Having never done something and making mother promise,
Running fast to see you getting how far.

Hearing someone praise you to someone else
Thinking you are not actually there,
Listening to the ringing christmas bells,
Looking up at the stars, and messing up with your hair.

Having someone to talk to, when you're really sad,
Having something to hope for, when things go just bad,
Having a best friend, with whom you can speak your heart out
With whom you're just yourself, with whom you can laugh out loud!

Looking up at the moon, and talking to it
Thinking of it as the person you miss
Getting a mom's morning hug,
Going randomly over things, doing that and this.

The feeling when someone tickles your ribs,
Playing music so loud, and losing yourself in it,
Peeing and making different sketches in the walls,
Trying to make different sounds, as the water falls

When it's sunny and raining at the same time,
The warmth of the sun and the chillness of the rain,
Having your best friends as partners in petty crime
Trying hard to "study" English, poking fun of Mark Twain.

Life offers random moments of joy and happiness
It's a world around filled with a lots of bliss
With all the love around, life in excess,
Life is a lovelorn chore sealed with a happy kiss.

Waking up everyday, finding myself alive,
Out of the bed knowing i have one more day to live,
All I do is feel more blessed,
For, i am a lover, and love is all i give.

You don't know what tomorrow brings,
You gotta love the lovely life;
For, it's worth the small things,
That gives you joy in everyday's strife.
