Born in this world,
Everyone has some causes,
Watch the omens, take the hints,
Realise what your purpose is.
Those who face the odds,
And walk their path of thorns,
Will always be remembered and retold,
As the golden Pawns.
For those who paid no heed, those who left undiscovered
The purpose of their life ,
Anytime they look back, rewind
Will face a trembled heart and a trembled mind.
I was a soul-case(an individual)
Belonging to the second kind,
A small child, a young brat,
Visionless and blind.
Proud at short-lived glories,
Developed a haughty nature,
Until one day I overlooked,
And fell into a crater.
Realization occured, glories lost,
What false notions I had!
The stone turned soul inside me regretted,
I knew, I did nothing to be glad.
The pit was large, no one for help,
I was all too sad,
Sitting on a shaky rock,
I knew, 'I' was all I had.
I had the zeal, I had the flame,
To try and climb up the wall,
Confident in myself, I tried all ways,
But everytime I'd fall.
New resolutions, new ignitions,
Nothing for long was held.
Whatever I tried, however I Tried,
It all could just not weld.
It'll be end of this phase of life,
I'll do something, to myself I said,
But successive losses, consecutive failures,
The flame in me was dead.
The days passed by, the years passed by,
The pit for me grew old,
My habitual space, my confined space,
For me, it had all silver and gold.
Then someone called, I finally saw,
My head towards the dark skies,
Like a bright star, a radiant light,
A pair of deep, brown eyes.
I looked at them, the time stood still,
Gravity was no hold.
A silent heart, a piercing gaze,
Melted the stone turned soul.
They rekindled up the put off flame,
The extent which I could not contain,
I lost my sleep, to find a way,
No care for drudgery and pain.
Block by block I pave the path,
Several times I fall,
I get up again, I have my faith,
No stopping now at all.
I come out and everyone sees,
It matters no more,
I have a Reason, The deep, brown eyes,
A Reason for the heart's core.
To find them here, to get to them,
It is tough I know,
Out of my reach, up in the skies,
However far I may go,
I follow them up in the skies,
The eyes are far as stars,
I'll just climb up and always try, try to reach those eyes,
Because....
They're now the REASON of my life.
