Clouds in the sky, the sun up high,
Give me a reason to live one more day...
The chirping birds, red leaves going dry,
Taught me how to be happy and gay.
I but a lonely soul,
Circumvented in this world edacious,
With agony and affliction imbued,
Fight for my meal two square,
Hardly evading the grasp of death,
To confront it the very morrow next.
Born to no one I sneaked in this world,
And tried to suppress my hunger every night,
With the delirium of prevailing, and killing my lust,
Bits and crumbs were a distant bliss,
I subsisted with the canines,
Who shared their share with no hitch,
Still I made it this far, down the road called life,
Abandoned and forlorn,yet I live.
Friends and family are things like love,
For either of them,I've had none but none,
Talking has been prejudiced for me,
As I've heard swearing plethorian not some,
I see other kids playing with their fathers at the park,
They shoo me away, seeing me bedraggled and vile,
I want to be that way too,but lucky they are,
As they are cherished and born to someone.
People ask me to do some work,
But they are the ones who disdain me the most,
For not a penny they have for me, to spare ,
Perhaps thats why they don't pay me
a good days rightful fare,
But thats not what daunts me now,
As thats a regular thing,
But love and kindness is all I search and need.
In pursuit of happiness ,
And chase of love I live quitting dismay,
I learnt to forget the heartache,
Seeing the silver line and light so bright,
Clouds in the sky,the sun up high,
Give me a reason to live another day,
The chirping birds, red leaves going dry,
Have taught me how to be happy and gay,
