clouds in the sky, the sun up high,
gave me a reason to live one more day...
the chirping birds, red leaves gone dry,
taught me how to be happy and gay....
this was before i was infatuated with the enomour of fortune,
as i gradually became a puppet to its tune..
feverishness of fame down the pathway of years
yielded many heartaches and tears..
lost in the splendour of lusturous glory
to leave some trace of my life's story..
tiding for fame
i became just another victim of the baneful game..
entrenched in the fever of recognition , Porcelain faced
lurking in shadows ,nw my identity could not be traced
the man the world had started to hail..
was lost in an illusion nurturing a subtle tale..
feverishness of fame was proving to be an empty bowl
the cancer of glory was hollowing the soul..
as i gave in to unsurping power
something inside began to cower..
forfeited by desires and in grandeur drenched
the increasing thirst for wealth could not be quenched
the ravishing extravagance gradually began to fade,
the bewitching glamour had begun to abrade..
no more could I savor the clouds in the sky, the lush green grass,
As I cheated the man looking through the mirror glass..
